I did it!

Yesterday I said I was going to do it, and today I actually did!  The Tiptoe Through the Tulips quilt is now ready as a Block of the Month - starting in the centre and working out.  As the first 2 months are a little less stitching, but more drawing for me, I am going to do one today, and have another ready on 15th.  After that they all should be ready on the 15th of the month.

They are digital patterns, at $4.50 each. So once you pay the amount you will receive a link where you can download the instructions.  If you pay by Pay Pal you get the link straight away - and please tell me if you don't! - and if you pay by credit card I will process the payment, and send you the email link. Go to the Legend and Lace website to get the pattern click HERE

The requirements list is included in month 1, but I will repeat it here for you.  It is listed in centimetres and metres.  So, if you live in Australia, New Zealand or Europe you will follow it ok.  If you live in the USA or anywhere else you might have to get your calculator out.  The cutting etc is inches, but the fabric lengths are metric - just to keep you on your toes!

Requirements

Cream Background fabric – 3.9metres
Brown check fabric for the centre star – 1 metre
Pink print for the centre star and final border -  30cm
Blue floral print for the star centre and border stars – 10cm
Dark blue fabric for final border star points – 10cm
Fat quarter each of pink checked print and blue/brown print for centre shapes
Fat quarter each of 4 striped prints for tree shapes
Fat eighth each of red and green  print for tulips and birds
50cm of brown checked prints for 2nd border
1 metre each of brown print and pink checked print for final border
60cm brown print for binding
Left over fabrics from other borders and appliqué will be used for the puss in the corner blocks, plus any other scraps of blue, brown or pink fabrics

Let me know if you have any questions, as I would love you to make this quilt and enjoy it as my family do.
