Sheridan brought along her star from the first day, to get the corners added. She did not quite get them all done. This is one of the trickiest part of the quilt - getting those corners right.
She also brought along her basket quilt from the book
When the Cold Wind Blows. this is all hand appliqued and the rows are joined by hand as well. It is a masterpiece, and Sheridan is justly proud of it.

The basket quilt is wonderful. Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to make those big stars and get them to lay flat and be the correct size. The star is looking good.
