Australian Patchwork and Quilting

I guess AP&Q have run out of interesting quilting people to write about, as they have done a "profile" on me in the upcoming issue Vol 20 No 9.

They used old photos they already had of some of my quilts and my friend Marilyn took the photo for me with my own camera.  I told her not to bother about the "Doris Day" lens (you know, the smudgy one), so you see me, wrinkles and all.  Which reminds me....I am 60 now.

  1. WooHoo Wendy! Way to go - I'll have to see if I can find myself a copy here in the states!

  4. I think it might be some time before you get this issue in the USA, unless you have a subscription. The featured quilt is Tip Toe Through the Tulips. This is an old one - has been around for a while now. Wendy

  10. I'm catching up on some overdue blog reading and this post caught my attention. When our LQS was still in business, I'd buy copies of Australian P&Q now and then. I haven't looked through any of them lately, but I remember that quilt and I remember the article! I didn't connect "Wendy" and that article and you until now.
Congratulations on being in the next issue. I know the author found plenty of things to write about. Your projects are very special.
